Pvt Hayden C. Johnson attended college for four years and was employed at the Kettelings Litho Manufacture Company before he enlisted in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on 15 December 1943.
He was killed by artillery shell fragments on his tibia.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Limey, France.
