Pfc Alexander J. Ridondo attended high school for one year and was employed at the Rhode Island Lace Works before he enlisted at Fort Devens, Massachusetts on 2 February 1942.

He was killed by artillery shell fragments.

He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Andilly, France.
