Pfc Harold W. Beahm attended high school for two years and was employed by the Pennsylvania Railroad Co.

He enlisted in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on 13 April 1943.

From February 1944 to March 1944 he was hospitalized in Italy for wounds caused by artillery shell fragments.

He was killed by artillery shell fragment in the neck.
