1st Sgt Ray Singer graduated from Redondo Union High School in 1937 and attended college for one year. He was a fireman employed by the Menasco Aircraft Engines.

He enlisted in Los Angeles, California on 25 April 1941.

He was killed by small arms fire in the stomach.
