Pvt Edwin F. Klueh graduated from Arsenal Technical High School in 1938 and attended the Indiana University for two years. He was a laboratory technician employed by the U.S. Government Plum Brook Ordnance in Sandusky, Ohio.

He enlisted in Indianapolis, Ohio on 25 October 1943 and was sent overseas in July 1944.

From 5 October 1944 to January 1945 he was hospitalized for wounds at his foot caused by artillery shell fragments.

He was killed by small arms fire in the head.
