Pfc Jack A. Todd attended Libbey High School and Woodward High School. He was employed by the Ransom & Randolph Co.

He enlisted in Toledo, Ohio on 29 March 1943.

He was killed by artillery shell fragments in the arm and leg.

He is remembered at a monument in Rupt-sur-Moselle.
