Pvt Luc L. Poquet immigrated from France to the U.S in 1928. He attended high school for four years and was unemployed.

He enlisted in New York City, New York on 5 March 1943.

From November 1943 to February 1944 he was hospitalized for cold injuries in Italy.

He was killed by artillery shell fragments in his back and arm.

He was first buried in the U.S Temporary Cemetery of Sicily-Rome in Nettuno, Italy.
