Pfc Thomas L. Patty was a miner.

He enlisted at Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas on 27 February 1943.

In May 1944 he was wounded by artillery shell fragments in the forearm.

In September 1944 he was wounded by small arms fire in the colon, spine and trunk. He died of his wounds on 14 September 1944. The exact location is not known.
