Pfc Louis W. Treece attended Powell High School and was a production worker employed by the ALCOA Tennessee Co.

He enlisted at Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia on 4 May 1943.

He was married to Helen Marsee on 19 April 1944.

He was reported severely wounded in action by small arms fire in the addomen and died of his wounds on 8 April 1945. The exact date when he was reported wounded in action and the locatio where he died, is not known.
